The Cyclones (3-2) were defeated last night in Maryland by the Cal Ripken-owned Aberdeen Ironbirds(3-2) by a score of 3-1.
The Cyclones' lone run came from Florida native RF John Servidio, who doubled in the 7th and scored on a throwing error.
Starting pitcher Bradley Holt earned the loss for the 'Clones, going 2.1 innings and allowing 2 runs, 2 hits, a walk and 4 strikeouts.
Next game is tonight at 5:35 pm in Aberdeen.
